Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Europa-Park Stadion will be the centre of attention when Freiburg and Bayer Leverkusen lock horns in a highly-anticipated Bundesliga game. Freiburg are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. With no fresh injury worries to report, head coach Julian Schuster is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Wolfsburg 1-0 at the weekend.
Xabi Alonso’s men, on the other hand, aim to keep their title hopes alive, but given Freiburg’s excellent form in the national championship, we are tempted to place our bets on draw. The likes of Alejo Sarco, Martin Terrier, and Jeanuel Belocian remain in the recovery room, while Patrick Schick should keep his place up front after scoring the opener in a 2-0 win over Augsburg on Matchday 31. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the cards at Europa-Park Stadion.
