Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Heidenheim will look to continue where they left in preseason when they face Wolfsburg in their Bundesliga opener. Heidenheim defeated both Ingolstadt and Parma in warm-up games, while rolling over lower-league side Bahlinger in the DFB Pokal and, as a result, the hosts are surely capable of matching Wolfsburg in front of home fans. It is worth mentioning, however, that the club chiefs failed to strengthen the team during the summer transfer market.
The Wolves, on the other hand, hammered Hemelingen 9-0 in their German Cup opener, but given Heidenheim’s fine performances in preseason, a close encounter is on the cards at Voith-Arena. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be big-money signing Vini Souza, who is expected to make his Bundesliga debut on Saturday afternoon. Centre-forward Tiago Tomas has completed a move to fellow Bundesliga side Stuttgart.
Highlighted Team (Wolfsburg):

Wolfsburg are a German football club founded in the aftermath of the World War II (1945). Die Wolfe (The Wolves) wear green and white shirts and they play their home games at Volkswagen Arena. The capacity of the stadium is 30,000 and it was opened on 13 December, 2002.
It is well known that German car manufacturer Volkswagen are the club’s main sponsors. Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga trophy in 2009 and the likes of Edin Dzeko, Grafite and Zvjezdan Misimovic were part of the club’s golden generation.
You should bear in mind that Grafite and Dzeko scored 54 goals between each other in the 2008/2009 Bundesliga campaign and that the team clinched the trophy thanks to a 5-1 win over Werder Bremen on 23 May, 2009. Die Wolfe won the German Cup trophy in 2015, with the team beating star-studded Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the title game. Wolfsburg are a team that has no bitter rivals in German football.
