After proving their worth in a 6-2 crushing of Mainz, Bayern Munich will look to overtake Union Berlin in top position when they face Hertha Berlin on Matchday 13. The league leaders aim to get their job done in the national championship as soon as possible, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. In-form centre-forward Choupo-Moting should keep his place up front, while de Ligt has joined the likes of Sane, Sarr, Neuer, Muller and Hernandez in the recovery room.
The capital club, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to Werder Bremen, and given their five-game losing run in encounters with Bayern Munich, we are tempted to put our money on Julian Nagelsmann’s troops. Darida was a surprise inclusion to the Czech Republic squad for the Euro 2012 finals, but there were no surprises when he played a key role to help Repre qualify for the Euro 2016 tournament. He impressed playing in a more advanced role in the absence of Tomas Rosicky, and he has already earned more than 30 caps for the national team.
