Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Mainz and Freiburg face each other at Mewa Arena in the closing match of Sunday’s program. Following four consecutive wins, die Nullfunfer shared the spoils with Hertha at the weekend to stay in the Conference League race. Both Jonathan Burkardt and Brajan Gruda are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team ahead of the visit of Freiburg.
Christian Streich’s troops, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Hoffenheim. Freiburg are eager to climb to the Champions League berth, but beating Mainz on the road is easier said than done. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. As for the away team, both Philipp Lienhart and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh are out of contention through injuries. In the first half of the season Freiburg defeated Hoffenheim 2-1.
