Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
All eyes will be on Mercedes-Benz Arena when Stuttgart and Borussia Dortmund take on each other in the Bundesliga round 29. Die Schwaben are undefeated in the previous four league fixtures, but they need to keep on impressing in the season finale if they are to avoid relegation. Sasa Kalajdzic, who found the net in a 1-1 draw with Arminia Bielefeld, will be the man to watch in the home team. Walderon Anton serves a one-game ban, while Stuttgart’s injury list is pretty long.
Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a heavy 4-1 loss to Leipzig. Since both teams will go for a win in Friday’s clash, we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals. All Felix Passlack, Nico Schulz, Steffen Tigges, Thomas Meunier, Mateu Morey, and Marcel Schmelzer are sidelined with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Wataru Endo):
Wataru Endo is a Japanese footballer who plays for Urawa Red Diamonds as a defender. Endo is a product of Shonan Bellmare youth academy and he continued playing for the club at senior level. After scoring 21 goals in 153 appearances (league) for the club the 178-cm tall centre-back moved to Urawa Red Diamonds in 2016 and he has been playing for the J1 League club ever since.
Endo won the AFC Champions League with Urawa in 2017 as the Reds defeated Al-Hilal in the final of the competition. The Japanese defender played 90 minutes in the victory over the Saudi Arabian side and the winning of the AFC Champions League trophy is considered the biggest success of his career.
Wataru Endo made his debut for Japan on August 2, 2015 in a 2-1 loss to Korea DPR at the EAFF E-1 Football Championship. In 2016 he was the AFC U-23 Championship trophy with the Samurai Blue. The Urawa Red Diamonds footballer was born in Totsuka-ku, Yokohama (Japan) on February 9, 1993.
Highlighted Team (Borussia Dortmund):
1909 by eighteen footballers from Dortmund. Die Schwarzgelben (The Black and Yellows) play their home games at Signal Iduna Park, but the stadium’s original name is Westfalenstadion. The capacity of Borussia’s home ground is 81,539 and it has to be noted that the stadium was opened in 1974. BVB have the highest average attendance in the world of football.
Borussia Dortmund have won eight Bundesliga trophies, while clinching the German Cup title three times.
However, the club’s biggest success came in 1997 when they outplayed Juventus in the Champions League final. Karl-Heinz Riedle scored a brace for BVB in the 3-1 win over Juve, with Lars Ricken finding the net in the title game as well. Borussia’s biggest rivals are Schalke 04 and the two teams square off against each other in the Revierderby.
