Werder Bremen and Hertha Berlin take on each other at Weserstadion in what is expected to be an entertaining Bundesliga game. Die Werderaner aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Mainz (0-2) and Freiburg (0-2), and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Friday’s football game. Captain Marco Friedl is banned for the match, while all Milos Veljkovic, Niklas Stark, Nicolai Rapp, and Jean-Manuel Mbom remain in the recovery, while both Christian Gross and Niklas Schmidt are major doubts.
The capital club, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Schalke, and they managed to get one, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Hertha, though, are not regarded as good travellers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Werder Bremen’s party at Weserstadion. Burke was regularly praised for his physical ability during his time in the Bundesliga, but Leipzig coaching staff had plenty of tactical questions hanging over his head.
A precocious talent who had only scraped the surface of his own potential, Burke is looking to get his career back on track. Despite being only 21 years of age, Burke already has 5 senior appearances for Scotland under his belt.
