Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Augsburg and Union Berlin, Werder Bremen will be looking to climb to the top half of the Bundesliga standings when they welcome Leipzig at their WESERSTADION on Saturday evening. Die Werderaner have been scoring goals for fun in the German top flight of late and we predict that they will stick to their attacking style of play against the Red Bulls.
The hosts will be without suspended midfielder Nuri Sahin, who was sent off in the 2-1 win over Union Berlin, whilst a man to watch in the home team will be Japan international Osako, who has netted three goals so far this term. Leipzig did well to hold title holders Bayern Munchen to a draw at the weekend and given the Red Bulls’ attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score.

Highlighted Player (Michael Lang):

Standing tall at 1.85 m, Michael Lang is a Swiss international defender who has gone through all ranks of the Switzerland national team to earn his senior call-up in 2013. Michael Jang began his professional career playing for FC St. Gallen where he spent five years before he moved to Grasshopper. During his four-year spell with the club he racked up 127 league appearances and scored 12 goals.
In 2015 Lang joined FC Basel on a free transfer, for whom he scored his first goal against the old club Grasshoppers only a week after his arrival. Michael Lang made 22 Swiss Super League appearance during the title winning season 2015-16, making an important contribution to his club’s 19th championship title in history.
During that time the 25-year-old Swiss international also managed to bag five goals for his club, which is regarded as a considerable tally for a defender. Having gone into the new season with two goals to his name already, Lang is expected to play a significant part in his team’s UEFA Champions League challenge.
Highlighted Team (Leipzig):

Leipzig are a professional football club founded in 2009. Die Bullen (The Bulls) were unbeaten in the 2012/2013 Regionalliga Nordost and, as a result, they secured promotion to the 3. Liga. After finishing the 2013/2014 as 3rd. Liga campaign in second place in the standings, Leipzig were promoted to the 2. Bundesliga and they competed in the German second tier for two seasons.
Despite suffering a loss to Karlsruher on the last day of the 2015/2016 round in the 2. Bundesliga campaign, die Bullen secured promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time ever. Leipzig play their home games at Red Bull Arena (42,959) and it has to be noted that the stadium was opened in 1954.
Die Bullen wear white shirts and red shorts while their away kit is blue and yellow. Ralph Hasenhuttl was appointed as the team’s manager at the end of the 2015/2016 season and you should know that the likes of Ralf Rangnick, Achim Beierlorzer, Alexander Zorniger, Peter Pacult, Tomas Oral and Tino Vogel were in charge of the team in the past as well.
