Our prediction for this World Cup 2026 match:
Cambodia and Iran take on each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Bahrain National Stadium on Friday evening. Iran aim to overtake Iraq in top position in Group C, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the rock-bottom side. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Porto attacker Taremi, but Zenit forward Azmoun will pose a big threat for the opposition defenders as well.
Cambodia, on the other hand, have been serving as a cannon fodder for their rivals in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. The hosts are stuck at the bottom of the standings, and given their shaky defence, anything but a routine away win would be a major surprise. When the two teams met in Tehran earlier in the process Iran rolled over Cambodia 14-0, and yet another high-scoring affair is on the cards.
