Southampton
King Power Stadium will host a postponed Championship game between Leicester City and Southampton, the two promotion hopefuls. The Foxes desperately needed a win against WBA and they managed to get one, with the team regaining top position in the standings. Even though Enzo Maresca has a full squad to choose from, Patson Daka should sneak into the starting XI after coming as a substitute at the weekend.
The Saints, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Cardiff City and given their attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. The likes of Bazunu, Armstrong, Larios, and Stewart should miss out with injuries for the visiting team. Vardy went on to score his first two goals for the Three Lions in March 2016 friendlies, with his back-heel goal against Germany in Berlin seeing him instantly become a fans’ favourite.
Over the years, Vardy has earned a reputation as a striker who never gives up and can be a real menace for opposition defenders, but his excellent goalscoring record and good link-up play are enough to suggest he can be described as a mix of old-style pacey forwards and modern strikers.
