Our prediction for this Championship match:
Middlesbrough will look to extend their winning run to four games when they welcome Blackburn Rovers to their Riverside Stadium on Matchday 17. The Boro have found their best form of late and a win over Blackburn will see them move closer to the automatic promotion berth. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Emmanuel Latte Lath, who scored a hat-trick in a 6-2 crushing of Oxford United, while providing one assist for his teammates. The likes of Alex Bangura, Darragh Lenihan, and Hayden Hackney are out of contention with injuries for the home team.
Meanwhile, the Riversiders defeated Cardiff City 3-1 at the weekend, with the team putting an end to their three-match losing run. Blackburn’s away record, though, is anything but good and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Middlesbrough’s party at Riverside Stadium. The likes of Carter, Gilsenan, Sigurdsson, Toth, and Wharton miss out with injuries for the away team.
