Our prediction for this Championship match:
There will be fireworks when Middlesbrough and Fulham face each other in the Championship derby at Craven Cottage. The Boro aim to build on back-to-back wins over Birmingham City and Peterborough, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but both Coburn and Watmore are pushing for a start after the duo go their names on the scoresheet at the weekend.
The Cottagers, on the other hand, moved one step closer to securing automatic promotion thanks to a 2-0 win over QPR. Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a brace in the local derby, meaning that the opposition defenders should have him at bay. Anyhow, we believe that both teams should be happy with one point from Wednesday’s showdown. Terence Kongolo remains on the sidelines with injury for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Sammy Ameobi):
Sammy Ameobi is the younger brother of a famoust Newcastle United player Shola. Sammy is a product of Newcastle United football academy as well and he scored two goals in 56 appearances for the first team. The pacey attacker played for the likes of Middlesbrough, Cardiff City and Bolton Wanderers on loan in the past before signing a permanent deal with the Trotters on July 14, 2017.
Sammy Ameobi was born in Newcastle upon Tyne on May 1, 1992, but he has two caps for Nigeria U20 team. The left-footed footballer played for the England U21 team as well, but he has yet to make his senior debut for the Three Lions. Ameobi’s main position is centre-forward, but he is capable of playing as a winger as well.

Highlighted Team (Fulham):
Fulham are a club from London that play in the Premier League. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition, but managed to return in season 2018/2019.
Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight.
Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League.
The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
