Our prediction for this Championship match:
Norwich City and Middlesbrough take on each other at Carrow Road in what is expected to be a very exciting game. The Canaries are on a three-game winning run at home ground in all competitions, and they are eyeing their fourth consecutive clean sheet at their Carrow Road. The likes of Byram, Pukki, Quintilla, and Zimmermann are all sidelined with injuries, while both Idah and McGovern are rated doubtful for the match.
The Boro, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham United in the previous two league fixtures. Middlesbrough experienced all sorts of problems at the back in their last league match, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Norwich City’s party at Carrow Road. In the first half of the season the Canaries defeated the Boro thanks to Teemu Pukki’s goal. All Browne, Hall, and Tavernier remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Grant Hanley):
Grant Hanley is Scottish footballer who plays for Norwich City as defender. Hanley was born in Dumfries, Scotland, on November 20, 1991 and he started his youth career at Queen of the South. After ending his spells with Crewe Alexandra and Rangers, the Scottish player joined English club Blackburn Rovers, where he started his senior career.
After scoring eight goals in 183 appearances for the Riversiders in league matches, he moved to fellow English club Newcastle United in July, 2016 for an undisclosed fee. Grant Hanley, though, made no more than 10 appearances for Newcastle United in the Championship before joining Norwich City. The 191-cm-tall defender made his full international debut for Scotland against Wales on in May, 2011.
He scored his first goal for the Scotland national football team in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Wales. His contract with Norwich City should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Middlesbrough):
Middlesbrough is a professional football club that have been balancing between the top two divisions of England’s league system in the modern history. Boro have been playing their home games at the Riverside Stadium since 1995 and their shirt colour is red. The capacity of the Riverside Stadium is 34,742. Middlesbrough impressed in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and they did really well to secure promotion to the English top flight. Newcastle United and Sunderland are regarded as the club’s main rivals, but there is a rivalry with Leeds United as well.
Middlesbrough made it to the FA Cup final in 1997, but Chelsea proved to be a big catch for the Boro in the title game (0-2). However, the Riverside Stadium outfit did remarkably well to win the League Cup trophy in 2004, with the team beating Bolton Wanderers in the final. George Boateng, Stewart Downing, Juninho Paulista, Gareth Southgate, Jonathan Woodgate, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Tuncay Sanli and Hamilton Ricard are the star footballers who left their mark at Middlesbrough.
