Rotherham
Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over Plymouth, Preston will be aiming to stay in the playoffs race when they welcome Rotherham United to their Deepdale on Friday afternoon. The Lilywhites failed to win the previous three home games, but they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways in the English second tier. Robbie Brady is a major doubt, while both Brad Potts and Milutin Osmajic should miss out with injuries.
The Millers, on the other hand, are with one foot in the League One and given their difficulties on the road, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. You should bear in mind that the rock-bottom side have already suffered 15 defeats on the road this term. All Grant Hall, Daniel Ayala, and Andre Green remain on the sidelines with injuries for the visiting side.

Creg Cunningham did well to win the Football League Trophy with Bristol City in the 2014/2015 season, but at the end of the season he moved to Preston North End.
