Sheffield United will look to retain top position in the Championship table when they face Birmingham City at Bramall Lane on Matchday 12. The Blades are eyeing their fifth consecutive league win, and it has to be noted that they managed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last four games in the English second tier. Even though Sheffield United’s injury list is pretty long, home win should be considered as the Blades are a real force to be reckoned with at home.
The Blues, on the other hand, were showing signs of improvement before the international break, with the team beating both Preston and WBA, while sharing the spoils with Coventry City, but they will have a mountain to climb at Bramall Lane. All Przemyslaw Placheta, Nico Gordon, and Harlee Dean are injured for the visitors, who were beaten by United in their last meeting in the Championship.

Adam Davis is a German-born footballer who plays for Championship side Barnsley as a goalkeeper. The 185-cm-tall shoot-stopper began his youth career at Everton and in 2012 he signed a contract with Sheffield Wednesday. However, he never managed to make a first-team appearance for the Owls. Due to the lack of first team action, he decided to leave the club in 2014.
Adam Davies, who was born in Rinteln, Germany on 17 July, 1992, moved to Barnsley on 13 June, 2014. He made his debut for the club against Crawley Town in the opening match of the 2014/2015 campaign and he quickly established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper. His contract with Barnsley expires on 30 June, 2017, but the deal could be extended for a further year.
Adam Davies conceded 82 goals, while keeping 26 clean sheets in 74 appearances for Barnsley in all competitions. During his spell at Everton U23 he managed to keep eight clean sheets in 22 appearances for the club.
