Our prediction for this Championship match:
After suffering a 3-1 loss at Stoke City, Sheffield United will look to retain top position in the standings when they welcome Blackpool to their Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon. The Blades are after their fifth home win of the process, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Veteran striker Billy Sharp is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while all Berge, Baldock, Lowe, Fleck, Clark, Robinson, and O’Connell remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The Seasiders, on the other hand, are on a poor winless run on the road, with the team collecting only one point in total from the last three away games, and that is the main reason why home win should be considered. In their last meeting at Bramall Lane Blackpool shocked Sheffield United thanks to Keshi Anderson’s goal, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge. As for the away team, all Rhys Williams, Kevin Stewart, Lewis Fiorini, Jake Beesley, and aforementioned midfielder Keshi Anderson remain in the treatment room.

Adam Davis is a German-born footballer who plays for Championship side Barnsley as a goalkeeper. The 185-cm-tall shoot-stopper began his youth career at Everton and in 2012 he signed a contract with Sheffield Wednesday. However, he never managed to make a first-team appearance for the Owls. Due to the lack of first team action, he decided to leave the club in 2014.
Adam Davies, who was born in Rinteln, Germany on 17 July, 1992, moved to Barnsley on 13 June, 2014. He made his debut for the club against Crawley Town in the opening match of the 2014/2015 campaign and he quickly established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper. His contract with Barnsley expires on 30 June, 2017, but the deal could be extended for a further year.
Adam Davies conceded 82 goals, while keeping 26 clean sheets in 74 appearances for Barnsley in all competitions. During his spell at Everton U23 he managed to keep eight clean sheets in 22 appearances for the club.

Blackpool FC are a professional English club based in Blackpool, Lancashire. Considering that Blackpool is a seaside town, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Seasiders. Founded back in 1887, the club play their home matches at Bloomfield Road, which can hold up to 17,338 spectators. In the 2009/2010 season Blackpool secured promotion to the Premier League, but they were not competitive at this level, suffering relegation to the Championship the following season.
The club’s biggest success, though, came in 1953 when they defeated Bolton Wanderers 4-3 in the FA Cup final. Blackpool are well known for their orange shirts, but the dominant colour of their away kit is white. Preston are considered the club’s biggest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the West Lancashire derby.
Charlie Adam, who played for Liverpool and has 26 caps for Scotland national team, is regarded as one of the club’s most notable players.
