All eyes will be on the Hawthorns when WBA and Huddersfield face each other in the Championship derby. The Baggies desperately needed a win against Hull City, and they managed to get one. WBA footballers regained a much-needed confidence, but it seems as if it’s too late for them to rejoin the playoffs race. Both Daryl Dike and Kean Bryan are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Terriers, on the other hand, look unstoppable at the moment, with the team eyeing their fifth consecutive league win. Since both sides are likely to go for a win in Friday’s showdown, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. The likes of Ryan Schofield, Rolando Aarons, and Alex Vallejo should miss out with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Callum Robinson):
Born in Northampton, Callum Robinson started his career at Aston Villa. Having gone through the youth ranks with the Villans, Robinson was given his first-team debut in 2013. As a product of the Aston Villa academy, Robinson unfortunately never got a chance to prove his worth at the club and ended up playing no less than 4 league appearances during his three-year stay at Villa Park.
Various loan spells – at Preston North End on two occasions and Bristol City – brought mixed fortunes for the striker up until 2016 when he sealed a permanent move with the Lillywhites. Robinson represented England at U16, U17, U19 and U20 levels but raised plenty of eyebrows when he declared for the Republic of Ireland in March 2018 through his late grandmother who was from Monaghan.
The striker made his senior team breakthrough in Republic of Ireland’s 2-2 draw with Celtic in Scott Brown’s testimonial match and will be hoping to prove doubters wrong and prove his motive is bigger than career opportunism.

Back in 1926 Huddersfield Town became the first English club to win three straight domestic trophies. Since 1908 the Terriers were playing at Leeds Road, but in 1994 John Smith’s Stadium became home of Huddersfield Town. The club play in the English second tier (Championship) and the colour of the their home kit is blue and white (stripes).
Huddersfield Town were founded in 1910 and just three years later they entered the Football League. In 1926 the Terriers won their last domestic trophy, but they did well finishing runners up in the FA Cup 1920. The club’s biggest rivals are Leeds United and it has to be noted that Huddersfield Town have better head-to-head record of the two teams.
Bradford City are considered Huddersfield’s local rivals as well, but there are small rivalries with Barnsley, Halifax Town, Manchester City and Oldham Athletic. The club’s chairman is Dean Hoyle.
