WBA will look to make amends for a 3-2 loss to Sheffield Wednesday when they take on Middlesbrough in the Championship round 8. The Baggies are eyeing their third consecutive win at home ground, but they face a difficult task against the fellow promotion candidates. Jason Molumby and Daryl Dike remain in the recovery room, but they should be the only absentees in the home team.
The Boro, meanwhile, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Stoke City, but given their ups and downs on the road, a close encounter is on the cards at the Hawthorns. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals have been netted in three of the previous four meetings between the two sides in the English second tier. Middlesbrough’s injury list is pretty long, including the likes of Dael Fry, Darragh Lenihan, Jonathan Howson, Marcus Forss, Tom Smith, and Alex Bangura.

Tommy Smith is an English player who was born in Warrington on 14 April, 1992. The defender plays for Huddersfield Town, but he used to play for the likes of Manchester City and Tranmere Rovers during his youth career as well. The defender, though, found scored his first goal for the Terries in the 5-2 FA Cup loss to Reading on 19 January, 2016. Tommy Smith made his Huddersfield Town debut on 31 August, 2013 in a 2-1 loss to Barnsley and he has been playing for the John Smith’s Stadium outfit ever since.
He has been struggling with injuries during his professional career and on 31 January, 2015 he was airlifted to hospital with head trauma following a colliding with Joe Murphy, the Huddersfield Town shoot-stopper. Tommy Smith has yet to play for the England national team.
