Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Atalanta will be aiming to get their revenge on Man Utd when the two teams face each other at Gewiss Stadium in the Champions League group stages round 4. The Orobici failed to defend their two-goal lead at Old Trafford, but they are surely capable of matching the Red Devils in Bergamo. Palomino is back from a domestic ban for the hosts, while all Djimsiti, Gosens, Hateboer, and Pessina remain on the sidelined with injuries.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did well to keep his job as a Man Utd boss as his men outplayed Tottenham 3-0 in their last league match. The Red Devils have been playing some high-scoring games of late, and given Atalanta’s attacking potential, we believe that there is a big value in betting on over 2.5 goals. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can count on all first-team regulars for Tuesday’s showdown.
Highlighted Player (Marten de Roon):
After spending his youth career in ASWH, Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam, Marten de Roon made his senior debut on 27 March 2010. The midfielder played for Sparta against Twente back then, but he made no more than three appearances for de Kasteelheren in the 2009/2010 season.
Marten de Roon joined Heerenveen in 2012 and in 2015 he moved to Serie A side Atalanta. He made 36 appearances for Atalanta in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign, but on 4 July, 2016, he signed a contract with Middlesbrough for a reported fee of £12m. The Dutch footballer scored one goal in three appearances for Netherlands U19 team.
Marten de Roon was born in Zwinjndrecht, Netherlands on 29 March, 1991. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as a defensive and attacking midfielder as well. Martin de Roon is a right-footed footballer and he is 185 cm tall.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles.
A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
