Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Barcelona and Plzen face each other at Camp Nou in a David-vs-Goliath Champions League clash on Wednesday evening. Barcelona chiefs did well to reinforce the squad in the summer, with new signing already paying off. Robert Lewandowski, who found the net in a 3-0 win over Sevilla, will be the man to watch in the home team. Xavi should have a full squad to choose from for the Champions League opener.
Plzen, on the other hand, booked their place in the group stages by beating Qarabag in the double-header, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Barca, who made a flying start to the season. As previously mentioned, David faces Goliath in Catalonia, meaning that anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Both Kopic and Reznik should miss out through injuries for the visiting team.
