Our prediction for this Champions League match:
There will be fireworks when Fenerbahce and Feyenoord go head to head in a highly-anticipated Champions League qualifier. Jose Mourinho’s men need to overcome a one-goal deficit at packed Ulker Stadium Sukru Saracoglu and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Feyenoord. Summer signing Jhon Duran and Nelson Semedo are both pushing for a start, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Rotterdammers, on the other hand, scored a late winner in the first leg and they are now on a quest to defend their slim lead in Istanbul. Fenerbahce, though, have turned their Ulker Stadium Sukru Saracoglu into a real fortress and we predict that they are going to emerge triumphant in the second leg. Robin van Persie is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Fenerbahce at De Kuip. The former Premier League ace should stick to the 4-3-3 formation, with Ayase Ueda up front as a lone centre-forward.
