Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Expect an electrifying atmosphere at Stadion Poznan when Lech Poznan and Breidablik go head to head in the Champions League second qualifying round, first leg. Lech Poznan made a slow start to the new Ekstraklasa campaign, with the team suffering a heavy 4-1 loss to Cracovia in their opener, but they are still seen as hot favourites to beat Breidablik in front of home fans. The likes of Hakans, Baranski, and Murawski are expected to miss the first leg with injuries.
The Icelanders, on the other hand, booked their place in the second qualifying round by rolling over Egnatia 5-0 in the return leg. Breidablik, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team ahead of the trip to Poland. Breidablik boss Halldor Arnason is likely to stick to the 4-2-3-1 formation.
