Manchester City will look to seal their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals when they host Sporting CP to their Etihad Stadium. The Citizens crushed the Lions 5-0 in Lisbon, meaning that they are with one foot in the next round, but Pep Guardiola’s troops are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Man City proved their worth in the Manchester derby at the weekend, with Kevin de Bruyne once again proving his worth, and, no doubt, the Belgium superstar will be the man to watch in the home team.
Both Dias and Ake should miss out with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team. The Primeira Liga champions, on the other hand, face an uphill task in the return leg, and we do not believe that they are capable of making a miracle at Etihad Stadium. Key midfielder Pedro Goncalves is likely to miss the match through injury, while Matheus serves a one-game ban.
