Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Manchester United will look to recover from a shocking 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace when they take on Galatasaray in the Champions League group stages round 2. The Red Devils were beaten by Bayern Munich in their opener, but they will not have a better chance than this to record their first win of the process. The likes of Antony, Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Reguilon, Sancho, and Luke Shaw are sidelined with injuries, while experienced midfielder Christian Eriksen is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
Galatasaray, on the other hand, showed character in their Group A opener, with the team coming from two goals behind to share the spoils with Copenhagen, but they face an uphill task in the Old Trafford clash. In their last meeting at the “Theatre of Dreams” Manchester United defeated Galatasaray thanks to Michael Carrick’s goal and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Hakim Ziyech is a major doubt, while Kazimcan Karatas remains in Galatasaray’s treatment room.
