Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Salzburg will look to build on a 2-0 win over Austria Vienna when they take on Brest in the Champions League round 2. The Red Bulls are brimming with confidence following the Bundesliga derby triumph and, no doubt, they are desperate to make amends for the 3-0 loss to Sparta Prague. All Fernando, Guindo, and Kawamura remain in the recovery room, while both Kjaergaard and Terzic are major doubts.
Les Pirates, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Auxerre. As Brest are not regarded as good travellers, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Salzburg’s party at Red Bull Arena. Both Pierre Lees-Melou and Bradley Locko are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team. It has to be noted that the two clubs meet for the first time in the elite competition.
