Our prediction for this Champions League match:
NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium will host Tuesday’s Champions League game between Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter. The Miners failed to impress in a 2-0 loss at Sheriff in their opener, and, no doubt, they are desperate to give fans something to cheer about. Even though all Konoplyanka, Moraes, and Trubin are sidelines with injuries, we predict that the hosts are going to find the net against Inter as they have been impressive in front of goal in the new domestic campaign.
The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, came from behind to share the spoils with Atalanta in the Serie A derby at the weekend. Simone Inzaghi’s men are eager to make amends for the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid, and given their attacking potential, over 2.5 goals betting option should be considered. All Correa, Brazao, Sensi, and Vidal are likely to miss the game with injuries, while Eriksen is out of contention with heart problems.
Highlighted Player (Yevgen Konoplyanka):
Arguably the most talented footballer to have worn the Ukraine jersey since Yevgen Shevchenko, Yevhen Konoplyanka is a creative midfielder who can play on either wing as well as through the middle. The talented footballer started attracting interest from abroad soon after coming through the youth ranks at Dnipro, but he resisted temptation to join a top European club and waited for his contract to expire before signing a four-year deal with Europa League holders Sevilla.
As expected, Konplyanka quickly proved his worth at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, scoring important goals in La Liga and Europe during his debut season. Together with Andriy Yarmolenko, he has formed one of the best wing partnerships in international football, scoring 11 goals in his first 50 appearances for the national team.
After starting all three games at the Euro 2012 on home soil, Konoplyanka helped Zbirna qualify for the Euro 2016 finals, netting two times in eleven qualifiers as Ukraine defeated Slovenia in the play-offs.
Highlighted Team (Inter):
Internazionale Milano, known as Internazionale, Inter or Inter named Milan, is a football club from Italy, founded on March 9, 1908 by a number of "rebels" who did not like in the regulations of the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now known as AC Milan. The main objection was that no foreign players were allowed. In 1928 the club merged with US Milanese and strongly entered a time when Ambrosiana-Inter survived.
The club, nicknamed the Nerazzurri or the blue / blacks has had many successes. This is how Inter Milan won 18 national titles, seven times the Italian Cup, the UEFA Cup 3x, and 3x times the Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup I.
