Our prediction for this Champions League match:
Sturm Graz will be aiming to record their first win in the new Champions League campaign when they face Sporting CP at Worthersee Stadion. The Austrians failed to create a descent goal-scoring opportunity in a 1-0 loss to Club Brugge, and despite their fine displays in the Austrian Bundesliga, home win should not be considered. The likes of Borkovic, Gorenc Stankovic, and Wuthrich should miss out with injuries for the home side.
The Lions, on the other hand, kicked off their Champions League campaign with a 2-0 win over Lille, while sharing the spoils with PSV in Eindhoven. Sporting CP definitely more of a team than Sturm Graz and we predict that they are going to pick up all three points from the match. All Diomande, Edwards, and Goncalves are injured for the Primeira Liga side, but Ruben Amorim can count on key players for Tuesday’s encounter.
