Aston Villa
Stadion Wankdorf will host Tuesday’s Champions League game between Young Boys and Aston Villa. Young Boys made it to the group stages thanks to a brilliant win over star-studded Galatasaray and, no doubt, they are brimming with confidence following the Swiss Cup triumph over Vevey. Pacey winger Ebrima Colley returns to the starting XI, while both Facinet Conte and Saidy Janko remain in the recovery room.
The Villans, on the other hand, are eager to impress on their new format Champions League debut and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach in the opener. As Young Boys are capable of finding the net on their artificial home turf, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. The likes of Leon Bailey, Matty Cash, Diego Carlos, Boubacar Kamara, and Tyrone Mings are out of contention with injuries for the visiting side.

Leon Bailey is a Phoenix All Stars Academy product who was born in Kingston on August 9, 1997. The Jamaica international played for the likes of FC Liefering and Trencin during his youth career, but he made his senior debut with Belgian side Genk in August, 2015 in a 3-1 win over Saint-Truiden.
The pacey winger quickly established himself as one of the best players in the Belgian top flight, but he scored only 8 goals in 56 appearances for Genk from 2015 to 2017. In the winter of 2017 Leon Bailey signed a deal with Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of €20 million. Bailey is a left-footed footballer, but he is capable of playing on both sides of the field.
The Bayer Leverkusen winger made one appearance for Jamaica U23 team, but he eventually refused to represent the Reggae Boyz at senior level as he has personal problems with the association. It has to be noted that Leon Bailley scored 12 goals in 34 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen in the 2017/2018 Bundesliga season.

Just five years after its foundation Young Boys won their first Swiss Super League trophy (1903). The capital club won no less than 11 domestic trophies in the 20th century, but they have been in Basel’s shadow in the last two decades. Young Boys won their last Swiss Super League title back in 1986, while lifting their last Swiss Cup trophy in 1987.
The Yellow and Blacks welcome their rivals at Stade de Suisse, which acts as a national stadium and it has to be noted that they play their home games on artificial turf. Swiss football legend Stephane Chapuisat played for the club in the past and you should bear in mind that former Yugoslavia coach Vujadin Boskov played for the Stade de Suisse outfit in the past as well.
Young Boys played their first official game on 29 June, 1898 and they shared the spoils with Institute Grunau back then. The Swiss team participated in the 2016/2017 Champions League qualifiers, but they failed to make it to the group stages of the elite competition.
