Our prediction for this Copa del Rey match:
Linares and Sevilla face each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Estadio Municipal de Linarejos in the Copa del Rey last 64. Linares impressed in their Spanish Cup opener, with the team rolling over Internacional de Madrid 3-0, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against the famous Spanish side. Julen Lopetegui’s troops head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Real Betis in the Seville derby, and, no doubt, they are eager to return to winning ways.
The former Real Madrid boss rested several first-team regulars in a 3-0 win over Ciudad de Lucena, and he is likely to stick to his rotation policy against Linares as well. Anyhow, Sevilla are more of a team than Linares, and seeing that they have slim chances of winning the La Liga title, the visitors will give 100% to make it to the Copa del Rey last 32.
