Stadio Arechi will host Tuesday’s Coppa Italia game between Salernitana and Sampdoria, the two teams who were beaten by Genoa and Sudtirol respectively at the weekend. I Granata do not seem to be competitive in the Serie A, with the team sitting in the rock-bottom position with only four points on their account, but they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Defender Federico Fazio should be the only absentee in the home team.
La Samp, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 3-1 loss to Sudtirol and given their difficulties on the road, we are tempted to put our money on the home side. All Lorenzo Malagrida, Nicola Murru, Petar Stojanovic, and Alex Ferrari should miss out with injuries for the visiting team, while Leonardo Benedetti is unlikely to be risked.
