Brighton
King Power Stadium will host the EFL Cup game between Leicester City and Brighton. The Foxes did well to beat Brentford on the road in their last league match, with the team climbing to 9th place in the standings. Summer signing Patson Daka has been scoring goals for fun of late, and he is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while Justin, Fofana, Ndidi, Albrighton, and Mendy remain on the sidelines through injuries.
The Seagulls, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-1 loss to Man City. Brighton are eager to make amends for the defeat, but seeing that Leicester rolled over Manchester United in their last home fixture, the visitors are unlikely to book their place in the EFL Cup quarter-finals. Both Alzate and Welbeck miss out with injuries for the visiting team.

Vardy went on to score his first two goals for the Three Lions in March 2016 friendlies, with his back-heel goal against Germany in Berlin seeing him instantly become a fans’ favourite.
Over the years, Vardy has earned a reputation as a striker who never gives up and can be a real menace for opposition defenders, but his excellent goalscoring record and good link-up play are enough to suggest he can be described as a mix of old-style pacey forwards and modern strikers.
