Our prediction for this EFL Cup match:
City Ground will host Wednesday’s EFL Cup game between Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton. The Reds aim to bounce back from an embarrassing 4-1 FA Cup loss to Blackpool, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against the Wolves. Midfielder Ryan Yates should be recalled to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute against the Seasiders, while all Lingard, Kouyate, Richards, Biancone, and Niakhate remain in the recovery room.
The visitors, on the other hand, did well to hold Liverpool to a 2-2 draw in the FA Cup round 3, meaning that they are high on spirits ahead of the EFL Cup showdown. Anyhow, a close encounter is on the horizon as the two teams seem to be evenly matched at the moment. As for the away side, Korea international Hee-Chan Hwang is pushing for a start, whilst the likes of Traore, Kalajdzic, Chiquinho, and Neto miss out with injuries.
