A football game between Wrexham and Wigan Athletic will bring down the curtain on Tuesday’s program in the EFL Cup round 1. Wrexham experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-3 loss to MK Dons, but their display in the second half is giving fans a reason for optimism. Both Davies and Forde are pushing for a start after the duo got their names on the scoresheet at the weekend.
The Latics, on the other hand, kicked off their League One campaign with a 2-1 win at Derby County and given Wrexham’s shaky defence, we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on the visiting team. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Charlie Wyke, who scored a brace in the Pride Park showdown. This will be the first encounter between the two sides since 2002 when Wrexham defeated Wigan 2-0 in the League One.
