Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Basel play host to Kairat Almaty at their St. Jakob-Park in the Europa Conference League round 2. The RotBlau are on a three-game winning run in all competitions, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Brazil attacker Arthur, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Since Basel dropped two points in a goalless draw with Qarabag, they have no other choice but to go all guns blazing at Kairat.
The visitors, on the other hand, shared the spoils with Omonia in the opening match of their Europa Conference League campaign. Kairat, though, are not regarded as good travelers, and they are unlikely to spoil Basel’s party at St. Jakob-Park. The two teams have never met before in European competitions.
