Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Real Betis will be aiming to build on a thrilling 3-0 win over Real Betis when they take on Gent in the Conference League last 32, return leg. Los Beticos are with one foot in the next round, but boss Manuel Pellegrini must warn his men against complacency. Defender Romain Perraud is back from the La Liga ban, while all Pablo Fornals, William Carvalho, and Hector Bellerin remain in the recovery room.
Gent, on the other hand, need a big win over Real Betis in the second leg, but given their poor display in the Planet Group Arena defeat (0-3), we are tempted to bet on the Andalusians. The likes of Fadiga, Hjulsager, Dean, and Omgba are out of contention with injuries for the away team. In their last home game in the Conference League, Real Betis recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over HJK.
