Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Following a shocking 2-0 loss to Sigma Olumuc in the national championship, Slavia Prague will look to get back on course when they face Cluj in the Conference League round 4. The Red and Whites have a chance to climb to top two in Group G, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. All Boril, Holes, Hovorka, Mandous, Masopust, and Schranz have been struggling with injuries of late, speaking of the visiting side.
The Romanians, on the other hand, did well to shock Slavia Prague in Czech Republic a week ago, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence once again. A low-scoring affair is on the cards at Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu, and we believe that gamblers from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on draw. Both Debeljuh and Bordeianu should miss out with injuries for the away team.
Highlighted Player (Guessouma Fofana):
Guessouma Fofana is a footballer of Malian descent who plays for Amiens in Ligue 1. Fofana started his career at Le Havre B and after making 20 appearances for the club he joined Boulogne B in 2012. Due to the lack of first-team football, he moved to Lyon-Duchere in 2013 and the midfielder played 43 games for the club before joining Amiens in 2015.
The 184-cm-tall footballer has been playing for les Licornes ever since and it has to be noted that he scored three goals and provided three assists for his teammates in the 2016/2017 Ligue 2 campaign. Amiens enjoyed a very successful season and, as a result, they secured promotion to the French top flight.
Guessouma Fofana was born in Le Havre on December 17, 1992 and his preferred foot is right. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as a defensive midfielder as well. Fofana’s contract with Amiens expires on June 30, 2018.
Highlighted Team (Slavia Prague):
Slavia Prague is considered one of the most famous teams in Czech Republic. The Cervenobili won the Czechoslovak First League on 13 occasions and they lifted their fourth Czech First League in 2017. Despite winning the domestic trophy in the 2016/2017 season, Slavia Prague eventually failed to book their place in the Champions League group stages as they were beaten by APOEL of Cyprus in the play-offs. Sparta Prague are regarded as Slavia’s fiercest rivals and the two teams face each other in the Prague derby.
The club was founded on November 2, 1892 and it has to be noted that the club was initially focused on cycling. In March 1896 Slavia Prague recorded their first ever victory, with the team beating AC Prague 5-0. The Cervenobili play their home games at Eden Arena and the capacity of the venue is 19.084 (football). Slavia Prague are well known for their red and white shirts and white shorts.
