Inter Escaldes and Olimpija Ljubljana take on each other at Estadi de la FAF in the closing match of Tuesday’s program in the Conference League qualifiers. Following a 4-2 loss to Olimpija in Slovenia, Inter Escaldes need a big win in the return leg to somehow sneak into the third qualifying round. Spanish midfielder Alejandro Gomez is pushing for a start after coming as a substitute in the first leg.
Olimpija Ljubljana, on the other hand, are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in all competitions. Jorge Simao’s men have been scoring goals for fun of late and given Inter Escaldes’ need for goals, a high-scoring affair is on the cards in Andorra. Portugal international Diogo Pinto is widely expected to return to Olimpija’s starting eleven after scoring a hat-trick as a substitute in the first leg. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team.
