Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Thursday’s Conference League game at Chorten Arena pits together Jagiellonia and Novi Pazar. Jagiellonia scored a late winner in the first leg and, as a result, they are with one foot in the Conference League third qualifying round. As boss Adrian Siemieniec has a full squad to choose from, home win should definitely be considered. Novi Pazar, on the other hand, were struggling defensively in pre-season and the trend seem to be continuing in the new campaign.
Given Novi Pazar’s shaky defence and Ivan Davidovic’s suspension, we predict that Jagiellonia are going to emerge triumphant in the second leg. As always, a man to keep an eye on in the visiting team will be former Fiorentina forward Adem Ljajic. Ljajic was rested in a 2-2 draw with Napredak at the weekend, but the 35-year-old is widely expected to start against Jagiellonia.
