After shocking Oleksandriya in the first leg (2-0), Partizan will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when the two teams take on each other in Belgrad on Thursday evening. Partizan’s job is half-done, but the Serbian vice-champions can’t afford any complacency in the return fixture. As the Black and Whites were not in action in the national championship at the weekend, there are no fresh injury worries in Srdjan Blagojevic’s team.
The Ukrainians, on the other hand, will have a mountain to climb in the second leg. With Partizan producing a fine performance against AEK Larnaca in their last home game, we are tempted to place our bets on the Serbs. All Jota, Buletas, and Vashchenko are pushing for a start as boss Yevgen Kalynychenko is expected to shuffle his pack following the under-par performance in the first leg.
