Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
High-flying Rapid Wien will look to extend their winning run to five games in all competitions when they face Noah at their Allianz Stadion on Thursday. The Austrians defeated Basaksehir on the road in their Conference League opener and they must be high on confidence following a couple of fine performances in the Bundesliga. Even though all Jansson, Druijf, Mmaee, Oswald, and Seydi remain on the sidelines with injuries, home win should be considered.
The Armenians, on the other hand, did well to shock Mlada Boleslav at home in their opener, but they will have a mountain to climb in Austria. Despite their splendid form in the national championship, we do not believe that the underdogs are capable of spoiling Rapid’s party at Allianz Stadion. Slovakia midfielder Martin Gambos remains in the recovery room, but should be the only absentee in the visiting team.
