Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Neftci Arena (different stadium) will be the centre of attention when Zira and Hajduk Split lock horns in an eagerly-awaited Conference League qualifier. Zira finished the last domestic campaign in style, winning six of their last seven league games and they’ll be eager to carry that momentum forward. The good news for the hosts is that the club chiefs managed to keep hold of top scorer Salifou Soumah.
The Croats, on the other hand, failed to win the HNL trophy last season, with the team dropping a number of points in the season finale. Hajduk Split, though, have big ambitions for the 2025/2026 campaign and with the likes of Marko Livaja, Filip Krovinovic, and Rokas Pukstas in the starting XI, they are surely capable of beating Zira in Azerbaijan. It has to be noted that former Barcelona ace Ivan Rakitic retired from football on July 1, 2025.
