Cambridge United play host to Curzon Ashton are their Abbey Stadium in the FA Cup replay. The U’s have been struggling in front of goal of late, with the team failing to find the net in four of their last five games in all competitions, but the bookies still see them as favourites to win Tuesday’s encounter. No. 10 Sam Smith should be recalled to the starting XI, while Joe Ironside is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The National League North side have been struggling up front as well, meaning that a low-scoring affair is on the horizon. Anyhow, we believe that Cambridge United are closer to advancing to the FA Cup last 128 than Curzon as Mark Bonner’s men are a real force to be reckoned with at home. Jordan Richards is likely to replace Sam Walker in Curzon’s starting XI as the later limped off with injury in a 1-0 loss at Brackley Town.

Born in Cambridge, England on July 31, 1993, Liam O’Neil is an English footballer who plays as both defender as midfielder for Cambridge United in the League Two. O’Neil is a product of the Cambridge United football school, but he played for Histon during his youth career as well.
In the summer of 2012 he joined WBA youth academy, and it has to be noted that he made three appearances for the Baggies at senior level in all competitions. Liam O’Neil played for the likes of VPS and Scunthorpe United on loan as well before joining Chesterfield in 2015.
After scoring two goals in 45 appearances for the club in the league, O’Neil moved to Cambridge United in the winter of 2017. As his mother comes from Wales, O’Neil is open to play for the Wales national team, but he has yet to earn a cap with the Dragons.
