Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Saturday’s football game at Carrow Road pits together Norwich City and Brighton, the two teams who meet for the first time since April 2022. Back then the two sides played out a goalless draw in the Premier League, but Brighton are seen as hot favourites to win this FA Cup clash. The Seagulls proved their worth in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the weekend, meaning that they are high on confidence ahead of the trip to Norfolk.
All Mats Wieffer, James Milner, Danny Welbeck, and Evan Ferguson remain in the recovery room, while both Kaoru Mitoma and Yankuba Minteh are pushing for recalls to the starting XI. The Canaries, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Luton Town and Coventry City. Even though Norwich City have found their form of late and are tough to beat at home, we are tempted to put our money on Fabian Hurzeler’s troops, who have big ambitions for the 2024/2025 FA Cup campaign.

The Canaries have won two League Cup trophies (1973, 1975) and their main rivals are Ipswich Town. The two teams have been facing each other in the East Anglian Derby since 1902.
The colour of Norwich City’s home kit is yellow and green and that is the main reason why they are known as the Canaries. The likes of Kevin Keeland, Ian Culverhouse, Steve Bruce, Duncan Forbes, Mark Bowen, Darren Huckerby, Ian Crook, Martin Peters, Darren Eadier, Chris Sutton and Iwan Roberts are notable footballers who played for the Carrow Road outfit in the past.
