Gold Cup Groups and Tournament Set up

The CONCACAF Gold Cup has brought us some big changes. The qualification system has been modified and it is no longer separated into the Central American and Caribbean zones. Among the 16 teams, six qualify directly through the FIFA World Cup qualifying process, while the other 10 teams need to play in the CONCACAF Nations League in order to secure their spot.

The winner and runner-up of each group will progress to the knockout stages, whereas the two worst placed sides face elimination.
