Our prediction for this match:
Following a hard-fought 2-0 win over Gibraltar, Scotland will be aiming to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Finland on Friday evening. The Scotts continue their preparations for the EURO 2024 opener against Germany and, no doubt, boss Steve Clark is going to shuffle his pack against Finland. Liam Cooper is unlikely to be risked after limping off with injury in the last friendly, while both Kieran Tierney and Che Adams should be recalled to the starting XI. Man Utd Scott McTominay remains doubtful.
Finland, on the other hand, produced a fine display in a 4-2 loss to star-studded Portugal on Tuesday evening. Veteran striker Teemu Pukki is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring a brace against Roberto Martinez’s troops, while there are no fresh injury worries in Markku Kanerva’s team. Anyhow, home win should be considered as over the years Scotland have turned their Hampden Park into a real fortress.
Highlighted Team (Scotland):

Scotland booked their place at the FIFA World Cup on eight occasions, but they have not played a match at the finals of the major tournament since 1998. On the other hand, the Scotts participated at both Euro 1992 and Euro 1996, but they failed to qualify for the knockout stages at the tournaments in Sweden and England respectively. A number of Premier League stars played for the Scotland national football team in the past and Jim Baxter, Hughie Gallacher, John Greig, Jimmy Johnstone, Billy McNeill, Bobby Murdoch, Archie Gemmill and Lawrie Reilly are the footballers who made more than 50 appearances for Scotland, with Alan Hutton and Scott Brown joining the list recently.
