Our prediction for this match:
All eyes will be on Estadio Santiago Bernabeu when Spain and Brazil go head to head in an eagerly-awaited friendly. As La Roja failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to Colombia, Luis de la Fuente should make changes to the starting XI, with all Dani Olmo, Rodri, Alvaro Morata, and Lamine Yamal pushing for a start. The Spain manager should stick to the 4-2-3-1 formation, but Real Madrid striker Joselu is unlikely to lead the line for the hosts this time out following his under-par performance against los Cafeteros.
The Selecao, on the other hand, did well to shock England at Wembley Stadium, with substitute Endrick scoring the only goal of the match. The Palmerias rising star is pushing for a start, while Tottenham attacker Richarlison remains doubtful. As always, a man to watch in the away team will be Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior, who produced a fine display in the triumph over the Three Lions. Anyhow, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Brazil as Spain were not at their sharpest in their last warm-up game.
Highlighted Player (Daniel Carvajal):
Dani Carvajal is a Spanish footballer who is a product of Real Madrid’s youth academy. After making 68 appearances for Castilla, he moved to Bayer Leverkusen in 2012 and he was producing outstanding performances with the Bundesliga outfit in the 2012/2013 season.
In the summer of 2013 he returned to Real Madrid as los Blancos exercised their buy-back option and the pacey full back has been playing for the Spanish giants ever since. Carvajal won two Champions League trophies with Real Madrid (2013/2014, 2015/2016), but he has yet to win the La Liga trophy with the capital club. Dani has five caps for Spain U21 and he played his fifth game for the senior team against Macedonia in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
He made his Spain debut on 4 September, 2014 in a 1-0 loss France in Paris. Speaking of his individual honours, he was named in the Champions League team of the season (2013/2014). Dani Carvajal has a contract with Real Madrid which expires on 30 June, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Brazil):
One of the most decorated teams in world football, Selecao have also been regarded as one of the most attractive and exciting teams with glowing reputation preceding them. Members of the CONMEBOL confederation, Brazil have played their first international in 1914 losing to bitter rivals Argentina with a comfortable 3-0 margin.
Brazil is the most successful nation in the FIFA World Cup with five championship title to their name. However, Selecao failed to advance past the quarter-finals of the last two tournaments last winning their World Cup in 2002. Their last title was the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup and the star-studded team will be looking to get back to winning ways at this year’s historic Copa America Centenario in the United States.
Legendary Pele is Brazil’s top scorer with 77 goals to his name, while the team’s biggest star of the modern era Barcelona forward Neymar is sitting in fifth place having so far netted 46.
