Armenia
Sweden will be aiming to give fans something to cheer about when they take on Armenia in their last warm-up game before EURO 2020 finals. The Swedes are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in all competitions, and even though Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been left out of the squad, home win should be considered. In Ibra’s absence, talented Real Sociedad attacker Isak will be the man to watch in the home team.
The Armenians, on the other hand, will be without Roma ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan in Saturday’s friendly. The former Soviet republic did well to hold Croatia to a 1-1 draw in their last friendly, but seeing that Sweden boss Jan Anderson is going to field the best possible side this time out, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Juventus ace Dejan Kulusevski is pushing for a start for the home team.
Highlighted Player (Zlatan Ibrahimovic):
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a Swedish footballer of Bosnian descent. Ibra was born in Malmo on 3 October, 1981 and, as a result, he decided to represent Sweden on the international stage. The 195-cm-tall attacker started his senior career at Malmo and in 2011 he moved to Ajax.
Ibrahimovic was producing outstanding performances for the Amsterdammers from 2001 to 2004 and, as a result, he was linked with a move with several European giants. In 2004 he signed a deal with Juventus for a fee of €16 million. Ibra scored 23 goals in 70 league games with the Bianconeri and he won two Serie A trophies with club (both revoked due to the Calciopoli scandal). He played for Inter and Milan in the past as well and he was part of Barcelona between 2009 and 2011.
In 2012 he moved to PSG and it has to be noted that he won for Ligue 1 trophies with les Parisiens. After scoring on his last game for PSG against Nantes, he joined Manchester United in the summer of 2016. Ibrahimovic represented Sweden at several major tournaments.

Armenia footballers played for Soviet Union national football team until 1991, when the country declared independence. The Football Federation of Armenia was founded the following year and they quickly established relations with both FIFA (1992) and UEFA (1993).
Despite the fact that Manchester United ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan plays for the Armenia national football team, the Havakakan have yet to qualify for the finals of a major tournament. Mkhitaryan is undisputedly the team’s most famous footballer, but we should mention former Ajax striker Edgar Manucharyan as well, who is in the twighlight of his career. Armenia played their first international game against Moldova in October, 1992 and it has to be noted that they played out a goalless draw with the former Soviet republic.
The Armenians have slim chances of qualifying for the FIFA World cup 2018 finals, but they did well to beat Montenegro in the process. Armenia footballers wear red shirts and red shorts when playing at home ground (Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium), while the colour of their away kits is white.
