Our prediction for this Ireland Premier Division match:
Dundalk will look to make amends for back-to-back losses to Waterford and Shamrock Rovers when they take on Drogheda United at Oriel Park. The Lilywhites suffered a dip in form, with the team losing three of their last four league matches, but they are surely capable of matching the Drogs in front of home fans. Scotland forward Cameron Elliott is pushing for a start, while all Andrew Boyle, Jamie Gullan, and Dara Keane remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Drogheda United, on the other hand, failed to win the previous nine league fixtures. Considering that the Drogs suffered a heavy 5-1 loss to Derry City in their last away game, home win should definitely be considered. Jethren Barr remains in the recovery room, but there are no fresh injury concerns in the away team. Kevin Doherty is likely to stick to the 4-5-1 formation.
