Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Accrington and Rotherham face each other at Crown Ground on Matchday 24. Accrington quickly bounced back from a 2-0 loss to AFC Wimbledon, with the team beating Bolton thanks to Tommy Leigh’s goal. The Accy Stanley aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive, but they will have a big fish to fry in the Boxing Day clash. Colby Bishop should continue to lead the line for the hosts despite failing to find the net in the last league match.
The Millers, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in the League One standings. Rotherham are on a three-game winning run in the English third tier, but given Accrington’s fine form in December, we are tempted to put our money on draw. The Millers boss Paul Warne should stick to the 3-5-2 formation, with Ladabo and Smith up front.
