Barnsley welcome MK Dons to their Oakwell on day 19 of the new League One campaign. The Tykes have been showing signs of improvement in November, with the team beating both Forest Green (2-0) and Shrewsbury Town (1-0) in the previous two league matches, and a win over MK Dons could see them climb to the playoffs berth. With no fresh injury worries to report, boss Michael Duff is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Shrews.
The Dons, on the other hand, are desperate to escape the relegation zone, but given their poor defensive display in a 3-1 defeat to Derby County, home win should be considered. Fit-again defender Tennai Watson is pushing for a start for the visiting team. In their last meeting in the League One, back in 2015, MK Dons defeated Barnsley 2-0, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.
