Cambridge United and AFC Wimbledon take on each other at Abbey Stadium in the League One round 16. The U’s failed to win the previous seven league fixtures, and, no doubt, they are low on spirits ahead of Saturday’s clash. Both Knibbs and Ironside are pushing for a start after the duo started from the bench in a midweek draw with Doncaster. The Dons, on the other hand, suffered a 2-0 loss to Wigan Athletic in their last league match.
AFC Wimbledon have been having their ups and downs of late, but they are surely capable of matching Cambridge United at Abbey Stadium. A close encounter is on the cards, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. Experienced attacker Ollie Palmer remains on the sidelines through injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away team.

Born in Cambridge, England on July 31, 1993, Liam O’Neil is an English footballer who plays as both defender as midfielder for Cambridge United in the League Two. O’Neil is a product of the Cambridge United football school, but he played for Histon during his youth career as well.
In the summer of 2012 he joined WBA youth academy, and it has to be noted that he made three appearances for the Baggies at senior level in all competitions. Liam O’Neil played for the likes of VPS and Scunthorpe United on loan as well before joining Chesterfield in 2015.
After scoring two goals in 45 appearances for the club in the league, O’Neil moved to Cambridge United in the winter of 2017. As his mother comes from Wales, O’Neil is open to play for the Wales national team, but he has yet to earn a cap with the Dragons.
